Charles Curtis, BPE
President and Owner Charles Curtis is the founder and President of Curtis Personalized Health Management Ltd. Charles has brought his passion for fitness, health, wellness and high service standards through many facets of business and the community and has redefined the new age of personal and workplace health and wellness. Charles is responsible for major client account issues, as well as supporting the site fitness centre Manager and team. He works directly with the manager to develop budgets, approve staffing increases, assist in recruitment and staffing contracts, business development and new program directions. Charles also oversees the Curtis Operations Committee to ensure new programming, creative ideas, systems, staff performance, and client service excellence is maintained. In addition, Charles has developed an active rehabilitation joint venture company that started up 4 active rehabilitation clinics, and he is involved in a joint venture to operate 12 Weeks to Weight Loss and Wellness, a behavioural change service. He has also co-authored three workbooks on goal setting and behavioural change, and is a ski, track, and swimming guide for the BC and Canadian disabled team.
Tim Hawke, BA
Operations Manager A fitness industry veteran, Tim has been a fitness club manager, program director, personal trainer and group exercise instructor for both private and not-for-profit facilities in Vancouver, Edmonton and Winnipeg for the last 26 years. For the past 17 years, Tim has worked as a workplace wellness coordinator, personal trainer and group class instructor for Curtis and is now the Curtis Health Operations Manager. Tim’s extensive experience, coupled with his education (Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Kinetics and Applied Health) makes him one of the most knowledgeable and skilled fitness professionals in the industry today.
Chloe Dion
Tenant Site Support and People Development Manager Chloe Dion holds a Human Resource Management certificate from BCIT, and has been a member of the BC Human Resources Management Association since 2009. Curtis Health is Chloe’s first job in the fitness industry; however, she brings a wide range of HR experience in various industries, such as facilities management, hospitality and customer service, retail and IT. She appreciates and enjoys being apart of Curtis Health and being able to offer her experience and knowledge within HR to the team and contribute to the overall operations of the company. Outside of Curtis Health, Chloe is co-owner and manager of a landscaping business.
Nicole Wutschnik
Personal Training Manager As a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, Nicole values providing empowering, sustainable, and successful programming, training, and support to her clients. As a Corporate Fitness Facility Manager and the Curtis Health Personal Training Manager, her goal is that each member and client is provided with the support, tools, and motivation to meet their unique and individual fitness goals successfully and with joy. She enjoys working with a diverse group of Personal Trainers who all bring different specialties and experiences to the table which enables the best possible outcomes for Curtis Health clients.
Caroline Collins
Group Fitness and Wellness Manager Caroline Collins has been a Personal Trainer for Curtis Health since 2009. Over the years she’s also been in the role of group fitness and yoga instructor, as well as corporate fitness facility manager. Caroline’s approach to health and fitness is holistic and reflective of her diverse experience. Her fitness niches include sport specific training, indoor cycling, HIIT, and anything that is fun and challenging. Her background in mindfulness, meditation and stress management are the foundation of her mind-body specialties, and are integrated into everything she does as a health and wellness professional.
Sue Conder
Sales and Marketing Manager Sue Conder is an experienced and successful fitness industry veteran with a mission and passion to inspire people to live stronger, healthier, more balanced lives no matter what their circumstances. Sue’s work background and extensive experience in fitness and wellness includes time at the Jewish Community Centre as a Member & Guest Services Supervisor, UPnGO with ParticipACTION BC Implementation Specialist, president of her own fitness and wellness company, “Sue Condor Yoga and Wellness”, as a health and wellness consultant for TriFit Inc, plus a significant amount of volunteer work and many more service related offerings. Sue is a CanFit PRO Trainer, Yoga instructor, Fitness and Nutrition Specialist, Fitness Leadership & Recreation Diploma 1997 from Simon Fraser University and an associate Science Degree 1991-1995 from Capilano University plus many other related certificates.
