Well I don’t think I have been the only one these past two weeks, but there sure have been many mornings when I left the house to take the children to school and we were driving in the dark. I cannot lie, it does feel strange to drop and pick them up in the dark, but I don’t find it really bothers me, at least I don’t think it does. I truly love summer, the swimming, warm sunny days, and trips to the beach, but there is something about fall, maybe it’s back to routine or everything pumpkin, but it truly is a lovely season. As we continue to walk in this pandemic, I think it’s important that we look at each season with excitement and find fun things to do each and every day that can help us remain positive and happy.
It has been a great summer and a lot of you have been privileged to work at home over the last year and a half, but now it’s back to work and school routines.

For example, I managed a fitness centre for many years, the gym was packed the first week of January, by mid- March it was back to the normal clients. The reason being is people chose a resolution of going to the gym each day that was probably not realistic for them. Instead, they could have made a goal that they chose to stick to like “I will go to the gym 3x a week.” Read More→
Some of my favourite smells this season are gingerbread, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg. Who doesn’t love building a gingerbread house even if you don’t eat it, but can look at it all month long. Or how about sipping on a hot gingerbread latte from Starbucks, Mmmmm my favourite. I ask for it half sweet to cut the sugar in half. Put out some fresh cinnamon sticks with dried oranges and you have a healthy smell to walk into each night you come home. Read More→
The pandemic associated with COVID-19 has negatively affected tens of thousands of Canadians physically and mentally, but many more have been affected financially.
