A Guide to Injury Prevention

Stay Active: Regular physical activity can help strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and reduce the risk of injury.

Proper Warm-Up: Always warm up before exercising or engaging in physical activities to prepare your body and prevent strains or sprains.

Use Proper Technique: Whether you are lifting weights, running, or playing sports, make sure to use proper techniques to avoid overloading muscles or joints.

Wear the Right Gear: Use appropriate protective gear and equipment when participating in sports or activities that carry a risk of injury, such as helmets, knee pads, or supportive shoes.

Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to signs of fatigue, pain, or discomfort. Rest when needed and seek medical attention if you experience persistent pain or injury.

Stay Hydrated: Proper hydration is important for maintaining muscle function and preventing cramps or overheating during physical activities.

Remember Injury prevention is a proactive effort that requires awareness, proper preparation, and listening to your body. Prioritise your safety and well-being to enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle.
